The front has pushed a couple ducks in. Nothing to write home about. Shot 18 in the rice yesterday, only four today.

Well, time is running short. My spots in the basin are history due to the high water. When we were killing ducks the water was 18" deep. It is now over 5' deep and most ducks have moved on. Morganza is started producing a little better but it's still not consistent. The marsh below Houma still seems to be the most consistent but then marsh hunting has always been more consistent and they sure have a beautiful place down there. I had a great year due mainly to a bang up first split. Hope everyone finishes on a high note. Good luck these last two weekends!
